As written by Frank B. Zink, "Beavercreek Township is one of the original four townships in this section of the state. It extended as far north as Lake Erie. It is a beautiful valley, fertile, well timbered, rolling and picturesque. It is noted for its fine farms. The high ridge separating Beaver Creek and Mad River is a particularly fine fruit section." Beavercreek Township encompasses 50 square miles of Greene County, and is bordered by Fairborn, Xenia, Sugarcreek, and Dayton.

    Beavercreek Township Fire Department Auxiliary Hosts Pancake Breakfast

    Eat amongst the fire trucks and firefighters on Sunday, February 26, 2017 from 8:00am-11:00am, Fire Station #1, 2195 Dayton Xenia Rd. Drop by anytime between those hours for a great pancake and sausage breakfast. Orange juice and coffee are included.

    Tickets are being sold at the door $6.00 for adults and $4.00 for seniors citizens and children under 12. All ticket sales goes to Day of Caring 365 to help the needy in the area.

    Greene County Environmental Services, in partnership with the Greene Soil and Water Conservation District, will host a Tire Drop-off Event on March 23, April 20, and May 25, 2017.
    You must register for the tire drop-off by contacting the Greene Soil and Water Conservation District prior to the drop off.

    Consistent with procedures provided in the Ohio Revised Code, Beavercreek Township and certain qualified voters, contested the election results as to Beavercreek Township Issue 14, a .90 mills levy for Police purposes. The contest was due to votes cast in the incorporated areas of Beavercreek Township being included in the final count. Upon recount by the Board of Elections of, those residing in only the unincorporated areas of the Township, Beavercreek Township Issue 14 has passed and the final results have been certified to the Ohio Secretary of State’s office.

    The Beavercreek Township Board of Zoning Appeals currently has an opening for an alternate board member. Anyone living in the unincorporated portion of the Township who is interested in serving on the board should fill out the application and submit it to: Beavercreek Township Zoning Administrator, 851 Orchard Lane, Beavercreek, OH 45434, or scan in the application and email to lbrown@beavercreektownship.org.

    Greene County has instituted the Hyper-Reach Emergency Notification System - an ultra high-speed telephone communication service for emergency notifications. This system allows us to telephone all or targeted areas of the County in the event of emergency situations or critical community alerts. Examples include: tornado warnings,  evacuation notices, chemical spills, bio-terrorism alerts, boil alert notices, and missing child reports
