Employment Opportunities

Beavercreek Township is accepting applications for nine (9) full-time fire fighters (24/48). Minimum qualifications include State of Ohio Fire Fighter Level II and EMT-B. Paramedics preferred. CPAT and certificates required by time of conditional offer, which is anticipated to be in early February 2019. 

These positions will be funded pursuant to Beavercreek Township’s receipt of the “Adequate Fire and Emergency Response” grant from the Department of Homeland Security. Beavercreek Township has approved the hire and continued employment of nine (9) new full-time fire fighters due to the receipt of this grant. Unless other specific funding is received, the nine (9) positions will be funded only for the duration of the grant, which is expected to last for three (3) years. If the grant money ceases at some point prior to that time, the nine (9) new positions will be defunded.
