The Beavercreek Township Zoning Commission is currently revising the Beavercreek Township Land Use Plan. This is your chance to share your vision of the future of the Township. The public input/comment meeting will be held Thursday, November 5, 2009 from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm at Beavercreek Township Fire Administration, 851 orchard Lane. This is an open house forum, so please stop in and share your comments. If you have any questions regarding the process, please contact the Township Zoning Department at 306-0065.

Fire Prevention Open House

Fire Prevention Week: The Beavercreek Township Fire Department is holding it's yearly Open House in honor of Fire Prevention Week on Saturday, October 10, 2009 from 11 am to 3 pm. Fire apparatus will be displayed, along with a CareFlight & MICU visit. Additionally, Sparky the Fire Dog, Fire Gear try-ons for kids, and the Annual Firefighter Chili cook-off will take place. A Flu-shot clinic will also be present courtesy of the Beavercreek Family Physicians. We hope to see you attend! More information at www.beavercreekfire.org.

(Opinion # 2002-001, page 6: "A board of township trustees is authorized pursuant to R.C. 9.03(B) to operate a township web site that communicates information about the plans, policies, and operations of the township to members of the public and other persons who may be affected by township matters.")

The Beavercreek Township Board of Trustees will conduct a Special Meeting at the Beavercreek Township Fire Administration Building, 851 Orchard Lane on Thursday June 25, 2009 at 8:45 AM. The Purpose of this Special Meeting is to meet in Executive Session to interview candidates for the position of Fire Chief for the Beavercreek Township fire department and to meet in Open Session to discuss the In Touch news letter agreement with the City of Beavercreek and to pass a resolution asking the Greene County Auditor’s office to certify the amount of tax revenue that would be generated from combining and replacing two existing fire levies.

The Beavercreek Township Station 62 has served its purpose but has too many issues now and needs attention to continue functioning as a fire station. Come tour the current Station 62 from 1963 BEFORE it begins to go through its renovation. Fishing Permits: Fishing permits for Phillips Park are no longer necessary.  Residents are able to fish without a permit at Phillips Park, while still obeying the rules posted there.
