[ARCHIVED] Fire Inspector Needed


The Beavercreek Township Fire Department is accepting applications for the position of Part Time, Fire Safety Inspector.  This position is responsible for fire safety inspection code compliance for high-risk occupancies through fire safety inspections, and maintenance on the Department’s records for all occupancies.  This position works under the general supervision of the Fire Marshal in the Fire Prevention Bureau.

Applicants should possess a State of Ohio certified fire inspector, or equivalent background.   Knowledge of modern fire prevention principles, building and fire codes, and fire protection equipment is necessary.   Experience in code enforcement and fire operations is preferred, but not required. Applicants must possess or be able to obtain a valid Ohio driver’s license.  The hourly rate for this position will begin at $18.61 per hour.   In addition, health and dental insurance benefits will be offered. Interested candidates should submit an application along with the above certifications and a copy of their current driving abstract by April 28, 2023.
