The City of Beavercreek has lifted the evacuation order for the residents living on the following streets:
Gardenview Dr., Shady Crest Dr., Longwood Dr., Vayview Dr., Wendover Dr., Rosehill Dr., Rushton Dr., Murwood Ct., Blythe Ct., Penrose Ct.
Residents may re- enter this area at their own risk. Residents are encouraged to enter the area only if absolutely necessary.
Due to the amount of storm damage this area has sustained there is no guarantee that all gas and electricity is completely off in this area. Dayton Power and Light crews have been working to make the area as safe as possible. Vectren has worked to secure the gas feeds in the area.
All power lines should be considered energized and extreme caution is highly recommended when working, walking and driving through this area. If you smell natural gas or have a concern about the status of power lines, please leave the area as safely as possible and call 911 to report the problem.
Residents running generators should do so according to manufacturer recommendations and in an outside and well-ventilated area. It is recommended that you have a carbon monoxide detector in your home when using a generator.
Residents removing debris may take their debris to Greene County Environmental on Greeneway Dr. Further information to follow for both Beavercreek Township and City of Beavercreek removal to follow.
