Tori King is a 2013 graduate of Clark State Community College with a degree in Business Marketing. She began her career with Beavercreek Township in October of 2019 as a part time clerk for the Zoning Department. In January 2020 the merge of the Zoning Department and Fire Prevention Bureau, creating the Community Development and Risk Department (CD&R), transitioned her role to full time Administrative Professional.  In addition, as part of the 2019-2024 Strategic plan, she is managing Objective 3C to Enhance community education opportunities & increase participation in community & civic partnership. Some examples of participating events include: EMS and Fire Open Houses, Try-a-Truck, Popcorn Festival, Fire Prevention Week, etc. 


Tori’s responsibilities include:

-Coordinating Fire Prevention System Inspections with contractors and Greene County Building Regulations. 

-Scanning, logging and filling permits and payments.

-Assisting citizens and contractors with questions relating to the CD&R Department.

-Processing Public Records Requests. 

-Preparing the mailing portion of  Public Hearing Notices.

-Ensuring that the township website and social media is up to date on topics relating to the Community Development and Risk Department.

-Creating Educational content. 

-Scheduling Public Education events and preparing materials for these.


The role of Administrative Assistant comes with reoccurring daily responsibilities but also requires flexibility to assist with special projects that may arise.


In addition, Tori continues to aide with the implementation of Operative IQ.  An operations management software featuring Inventory management, Asset management and Fleet management as well as narcotics tracking. This software is utilized Township wide and it’s success hinges on proper coordination  between all departments
